Harold Kalles, MPM®, Partner
Harold is the founder of Kalles Properties and has been a member of the Puyallup community his entire life. Harold has been growing the national presence of Kalles Properties through his involvement with the National Association of Property Managers (NARPM), where he holds an executive board position. Prior to starting Kalles Properties, Harold sold real estate for a local firm in the Puyallup area. Harold's immeasurable real estate and property management knowledge are instrumental in the success of our management team.
Michael Quinn, Partner
Michael graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Michael's professional background includes working at IBM, Rational Software, and the founding of BlueTux, which is a web development company. Michael formerly served as a board member for the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Clallam County, Olympic Medical Center Foundation and Serenity House of Clallam County. Michael's involvement in the property management industry over the last couple years includes working in partnership with the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) on their website, in addition to developing and managing infrastructure for Kalles Properties.
Derek Kalles, Partner
Derek graduated with a degree in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from the University of Washington. Derek's professional experience includes working for business and technology consulting firm Accenture, ChevronTexaco, and Salomon Smith Barney. Derek is very involved in his community as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children, and through his involvement as a board member of the University of Washington Economics Alumni Association. Derek has been involved with property management on both a local and national level for the last two years
Ellen Webster, RMP®, Property Manager
Ellen has been a property manager for over 20 years. Her deep experience both locally and nationally as a part of the National Association of Property Managers (NARPM) allows her to be a great leader in our residential property division. Ellen’s roots are in the Puyallup area having grown up in Edgewood and raising her two adult children here in Puyallup. On top of her leadership role in Kalles Properties, Ellen is the 1st Vice President of the Pierce County NARPM chapter. Currently, Ellen holds the prestigious RMP (Residential Property Manager) designation from NARPM, which is given to individuals who have gone through rigorous classroom and on the job training.
Jason Nepsund, Maintenance Manager
Jason is a long standing resident of the area and brings local and technical expertise to lead Kalles Maintenance. Jason was born and raised in Eatonville, Washington and now lives with his family in the Sumner area. Prior to joining Kalles Maintenance, Jason owned a contracting company where his commitment to excellence gained him a very strong reputation. In addition to his customer service capabilities, Jason's training in HVAC, plumbing, and general contracting are an invaluable resource for Kalles Maintenance. After work Jason is an active softball enthusiast and outdoorsmen.
Kris Niswonger, Office Manager
Kris has been with Kalles Properties since the beginning. She is the bedrock of this office and brings strong property management knowledge to the team. Prior to Kalles Properties, Kris worked in the telecommunication industry. This corporate experience has provided Kris a great deal of tools to help make everyone successful in the office. Kris is either a contributing member or leader in almost all aspects of our property management operations.
April Wenig, Support Specialist
April is at the forefront of our office and will usually be the first person you speak to at Kalles Properties. Her attention to detail, drive for improvement and knowledge of property management make her a valuable asset to the team. April prides herself on being able to support the Kalles Properties team, in addition to our tenant and client needs. April relocated to Washington a year ago from Florida where she worked previously in the property management field before joining Kalles Properties.
